Week 17
Hello and welcome to the last post of the summer!
I can't believe it's already here! In someways it feels like forever ago since I was in Boston but it feels like this summer has flown by! It's been so great to be home and back with my family and dogs, swimming in the pool and playing ping-pong. I have had a great time but I'm ready to get back to fall weather, busy streets, and walking everywhere I go instead of hiding in a car with the air conditioning on full blast. I can't wait to wear scarves again and layers! Most of all I can't wait to see all my friends again!
Okay now to the whole point of this little blog. As of today I have lost a total of......25lbs!!! I can't believe it! It is so incredible knowing that I'm going back to Boston 25lbs lighter than I left it in May. I've worked really hard at this and I have you all to thank! If I hadn't told everyone my plan to get healthy then it would have been really embarrassing to go back just the same. On top of that, you guys check in every week to see how I'm doing and it made me really want to have something good to report every week. That is what kept me at the gym for an hour and 15 minutes a day, 6 days a week. You guys helped me eat better and control myself so I could only have one or two cream puffs after dinner instead of a whole bowl which would have been the norm just four months ago.
Anyways, I'm not going to blab on too long because I still have to start packing. Yes, I leave Wednesday and I still haven't started packing! Anyways, I'll probably post back in a week or two and keep semi-regular posts coming just to keep my motivation up on my continuing journey.
