Week 4
Ahh week 4...finally we are one month in!
So I've been pretty good this week as far as the gym goes, memorial day I couldn't go because of their weird scheduling but I'm still on track. And I don't have my video recorder so I don't have a video for you all of my quirky family or dogs so I've put an SNL skit that I thought was hilarious at the end. Anyways, as for progress in the weight loss...there is MAJOR excitement! I've lost a total of 10 lbs!!!! 10 lbs in one month!!! I don't why but getting that number to 10 is such a huge step. It reaffirms my efforts and makes me feel like I could potentially lose 10 lbs a month which was my ultimate goal. I know I shouldn't count on it since there will be plateaus where I will have to change up my routines but it just feels good knowing I'm doing everything right so far. Ahhh still excited! I also lost almost an inch off of my waist and half an inch off of my belly area just this week!
In family news, my sister got a role as a very funny police officer in the Don Bluth production of Arsenic and Old Lace which he'll be putting on at the end of the summer in his house as part of his youth theatre group. Also, my Dad comes home for the weekend tonight so that is really exciting. It's weird being home and not seeing him all the time so I'm very happy he'll be here for the next couple of days. Stu and I saw the new Terminator movie which was very intense. I think it's definitely a movie theatre movie because the sound effects really make you feel the intensity of the helicopters and the machines.
Finally, for those of you that didn't respond to my title assignment please do! Maeve gave me one and I'm really excited to try and put something together for it so please please give it some thought and just pop in a little comment! Anyways, I hope to have a video for you next week! but enjoy SNL!

10lbs is super impressive! I would think 5 would be a good goal... but ten is great to get going! Congrats!
