Hey long time no see!
So, I'm really sorry I didn't end up posting anything last week. Being in Pasadena was a lot of fun but I wasn't able to get to the gym and the baseball game brought hot dogs, beer, and fries so my eating habits were not up to par. So I thought I'd avoid posting that kind of news. But I'm back on track and sticking to the routine and trying to push myself. I have definitely noticed that I'm not hungry most of the time. Which is a huge improvement from before.
So the video from this week is all about my visit to California. We went to a Dodger's game, a prop warehouse, an antique car show, and a sidewalk chalk art show. The first part of the video is from when we went to visit some family friends. The man in the video is Craig who went to school with my dad and now works for movies and television. In fact he's working for Bravo TV at the moment. His office is a room he's designed to be entirely orange. He's collected objects that are unique either in shape, function or design and made this room glow with orange. It is actually quite beautiful and really entertaining to be in. Some objects are antiques and some are replicas others are just beautiful. So he explains a little bit of the process and some of the selections in the video to me and my mom. In his backyard they have a giant plant that reminds me of the plant from the shop around the corner. There's also a few seating areas, a fire pit and a studio for Kathleen to paint in. They are really creative people and it's quite inspiring to visit them!
As for this week I'm trying to get some art projects done in my room along with getting in some work. I got a job at the Limited and I like it, but unfortunately it's been quite slow. Yesterday I was supposed to work for four hours and they had me leave after one because there were so few people. But just hoping to get those hours in!
